Michael L. Taylor. Mike Taylor is a native of Blue Springs, Missouri, and was born on November 2, 1954. He received an associates degree from Kansas Community Junior College in political science and psychology in 1977 and a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas with a double major in political science and sociology in 1979. Mike received his law degree in 1982 from the University of

Kansas. Mike received the Lon Hocker Memorial Trial Lawyer Award in 1989 for his outstanding litigation skills and results. Mike is very involved in the community and has served on many local charitable boards and actively coaches youth sports. Mike and his wife Janet reside in St. Joseph with their three children. Mike primarily handles matters involving personal injury claims and litigation, business and commercial litigation, wrongful death and family law.
